Just a fun Nuxt starter I made to browse design system documentation: tokens, base components, and patterns in one place.
Inspired by the tools I use the most (Tailwind, shadcn), I wanted to make my own design system interface.
design-template is a Nuxt starter I install on projects to get a browsable component reference: tokens, base components, and patterns organized in a sidebar navigation. Useful during development, and a pleasing space to inspect and browse custom components and design principles.
Good documentation makes you reflect on your decisions. That's free improvement. For my thesis at school, I researched metacognition, thinking about thinking, and how it's helpful for positive learning outcomes. I believe building this kind of reference reinforces your decisions and keeps you consistent and close to your own design language.
ERP DS is the version I built to showcase data heavy interface; 20+ components covering dense data tables, sortable lists, status badges, keyboard shortcuts, icon libraries, multi-section detail panels.
